Jacob Tanner and Jason Mitchell are back this time to discuss a subject that seems to be at the forefront of Church battles as of late. Biblical masculinity has come under attack in the secular world, as has femininity. These battles have crept their way into the Church. The world is attempting to rewrite gender norms as it brazenly turns further and further away from God and to sin. If the greatest truth visible in all of creation is that there is an Intelligent and Divine Creator, then the next most obvious truth is that created things have created functions and designed purposes. This means men were created for a distinct purpose, as were women.
With all of these differing philosophies, the question becomes: What actually is a man? Is masculinity toxic, as the world suggests it is? Most important of all, as our ultimate authority in life, what does the Bible have to say about these things?
