The veracity of God’s Word is often brought into serious question and doubt. This, unsurprisingly, results in a willful negligence in the reading and studying of Scripture. What a mistake this is!
Jesus commanded us to live by every Word that proceeds forth from the mouth of God. James challenged us not to be hearers of the Word only, but doers as well. Yet, we ignore our Bibles, cast them aside, and don’t pay any attention to them.
Still, the Bible has stood the test and weather of time and has proved time and time again that not only is it true, but it is powerful and needed. Apart from God’s Word, there can be no salvation, or spiritual growth, or revival. This Word is such a gift that should be eternally treasured. Instead, it is ignored.
