The Sound of Truth

Dec 23, 2017

We've all heard the story before: There was no room in the inn, so Jesus was born in a manger. What we don't often hear about is the implications in that statement for us today. When Jesus was born, there was no room for Him. The question is, do you have room for Jesus?

Our hearts are like inns. We choose what gets in and what gets out. We choose who to open the door to and who to keep it shut for. So, when it comes to Jesus, are you making room for Him in your heart? Are you opening the door to Him?

Many celebrate Christmas but claim to have no room for Jesus, just like there wasn't any room at the inn. We are just like innkeepers. So, what about you? Do you have room for Jesus this Christmas? What about the rest of the year?

Through the story of the birth of Christ in Luke 2:7-18 we are seeking to find what it truly means to make room for Jesus.
