We live in an age of godlessness, surrounded by godless people. Sin runs rampant, hatred spews forth like venom, and hopelessness reigns supreme. Yes, we still have a glimmer of hope through Jesus Christ. However, we have to ask: Can godlessness turn to Godliness?
The short and simple answer is: Yes. Yes, godlessness can turn to Godliness, but only through Jesus Christ. Without Him, Godliness is impossible and we will forever remain in a perpetual state of godlessness. But, if we will turn to Him then He will make all the difference in our lives.
King Hezekiah was a man who lived in an age of godlessness and evil and sin. He was raised by the evil King Ahaz, taught to rebel against God from a young age. Yet, from the very moment he took the throne, he rededicated himself and the people to God, and he led a revival in the land. The revival he experienced is the same sort of revival we can have today. Through Jesus, you could be the one God uses to spark the flames of another great revival.
