The Sound of Truth

Jun 10, 2017

Our relationships within the church today are a sad thing compared to the relationships among the early believers in the early church. They would continually work alongside one another, encouraging each person to turn from sin and pursue Jesus. They'd encourage one another to persevere. How did we go from such deep, meaningful relationships with one another to suddenly hating our brothers and sisters in Christ?

In this episode, we look at a man known as Barnabas whose name literally means Son of Encouragement. We will look at some of the encouragement he offered others, how he did it, and why he did it. Through him, we will see the need for ourselves to start exhorting and encouraging one another today, while it is called today (Hebrews 3:13).

This is the second part of our series on encouragement through Christian fellowship. Episode 18 contains the first part.
