Imagine being told that you're never allowed to be touched by anyone ever again. That would be a pretty lonely existence, wouldn't it? In the past, for lepers, it was a very real existence that they had to live with until they died. But, in Luke chapter 5, we see Jesus do the unthinkable - He doesn't just heal a leper; He reaches out and touches him.
That one touch contained not just healing, but love and mercy and compassion and forgiveness. This man then made it his mission to tell others what Jesus had done for him. If you've never experienced this touch for yourself, you can.
If you have been touched by the love of Jesus though, it is now your job to reach out and touch others with His Gospel.
